Car and Trucks Accidents Caused by Speeding Motorists
We can help you if you have questions about a car accident or your rights in any sort of injury accident. Have you been in an accident that was caused or made worse by illegal or excessive speed? We can help.
Speeding is one of the main causes of car and truck accidents. Going faster than the posted speed limit is also negligence; all drivers have a duty to obey all traffic laws, and if they don’t and that disobedience causes an accident, they are responsible for all of the damages caused by that accident.
Statistics Related to Speeding Accidents
Speeding greatly increases the risk of being involved in an injury accident for several reasons. Driver reaction time is drastically reduced, vehicles are more difficult to control at high speeds, and the laws of physics tells us that the faster you are going when you hit something, the more severe the resulting damages and injuries are going to be.
